about
This track had an instrumental version for two years in my computer. I was able to sing and find the words when my brother went on a long solitary journey of two years.
It is a sensation projected on his sensations. A questioning.
I was anxious to know what he was going through. We had very little news. He was secretive and tormented on this journey, which made it painful for me to stand by and not wait for him.
I like the bass line of this piece I created from double bass samples.
lyrics
He doesn't understand
why frequently you hear, a crackling noise in a motion
He doesn’t understand,
why the sand’s golden and sparkles, with sheer diffraction
All these lies, witch are made,
Loosing faith,
He hits a wall
He doesn't understand
why trough your heart, you feel a suffering joy pulsating
He doesn’t understand why
the sand moves as a pure distraction
All these lies, which are made,
On his head,
He Troughs in the towel,
Oh my god he sleeps among desert dogs
Abandoned nights, letters emerging on Americain trains
II said « if you really meet the sky
if you want to, you can follow it's path
Flowing in your heart, my heart
Oh my god
He’s heavy handed
He's no more need, to push my buttons
Our gold city ruins, engulfed
Oh my god
I think he knew it
From The day he said he's sorry
That open morning he felt to grow
Grow
Oh my god, it’s been 6 months, since he called
This voice is my brother’s voice
Peyote accent far from home
Oh my god
Oh my goodness
It’s gonna be tuff
Oh my god
Oh my god
He’s heavy handed
He's no more need, to push my buttons
Our gold city ruins, engulfed
Oh my god
I think I knew it
From The day he said he's sorry
That open morning he felt to grow
Grow
Oh my god
Oh my god
Oh my god
Oh my god
