What makes the weight of life decrease? At the end of our life, we may have to fly away and the weight naturally decreases.
This word "Happiness" came constantly to my mind, surrounded by chewed up words. I asked Nka to write this text, after several failed attempts on my part.
She put down these few sentences with her delicate wording. Her voice and musical approach touch me deep down. At the end of the session we were feeling very emotional, it was a suspended moment.
I took time to produce the track then, first draft on Logic, the small riffs of guitars quite dirty. The micro percussions and synth on Korg FM DS8 bought from a guy in Sanary sur Mer for only 200e :)
Then second round on Ableton, production based on samples for the drum, bass line on Roland SH09. Last step in Benoît Fleury's studio, percussions played by Delphine Langhoff. Elise Blanchard plays the bass guitar. A real delight.
